The whole event will be part of an audio-video recording extravaganza, which will result in a live compilation DVD of which the proceeds will go towards the establishment of the Joe Strummer Memorial Hall in Calgary. The Joe Strummer Memorial Hall will be a youth recreational/project centre and an all ages music and arts venue, dedicated to facilitating youth-based arts and initiatives.

Hi everyone. For those of you who are interested, we’ll be recording a new EP in September when we get back from tour. We’re not totally sure, but we think the EP will be entitled “Power”, which is a title that kind of encapsulates the material we’ll be recording. Every song on this upcoming EP seems to have, at its core, a tale of power conflicts and how various modes of power (force on force) are used for both oppressive and liberatory means. We are all vessels of power and this is knowledge that can act as a catalyst for change, especially since it can be inspiring to recognize our own strength, most notably when we act in unison to help others and ourselves to live free.
